Shoal Creek Preserve allows visitors to explore 298 acres of fallow fields, mature upland hardwood stands and scenic creek bottoms A variety of plant and animal species make their home in the diverse habitats across the preserve, in fields, mature upland hardwood forests, and scenic creek bottoms. Besides Shoal Creek, other waterways on the property include Indian Camp Creek, Lawson Creek, and Jones Branch. (per National Park Resources)
