The two trails Reflection & Whitetail are located near the back of the Cahaba River Park. Starting across the dirt road from a restroom and pavilion facility, the trails can be used for hiking, biking, running. By combining the Reflection and Whitetail, you can complete a loop making parking easy. The trails are wooded, with mostly a rocky and dirt surface. With minimal sightseeing opportunities along the path, the hike is more secluded and focused on the surrounding woodlands. There are minimal steep inclines however the trail itself does have numerous light elevation changes. During the spring and fall, birds are abundant. Wildflowers can be seen along the path occurring more on the Whitetail portion. For a short hike, the trail offers a quite walk in the woods.
Directions
Once inside the park, take the first road to the right. Follow this road through an unlocked gate 1 mile to the pavilion. The trail is directly across the road.
