Palisades Park offers a network of hiking trails. To simply include a single path would not do justice to the network of hiking that is available. 8 trails exists within the 8 acre area all of which are relatively short. The longest, the Rocky trail, is 1 mile in length and wraps around the perimeter of the hiking area of the park. Other trails ranging in length from 0.09 to 0.18 miles interconnect between parking lots and the Rocky trail. All trails have a red gravel surface and are about 4 to 6 feet wide. The terrain is flat and makes for an easy hike. Birds are the main wild life attraction and most common during the spring. For more information on the trails, see the trail map or visit the main website.
