Rickwood Caverns State Park
Rickwood Caverns State Park located near Warrior, Alabama host a variety of activities including cave tours, hiking, picnicking, and swimming. Explore the 260 million year old cave with a mile long tour. Travel 175 feet beneath the earth’s surface in a nice 58-62 degrees temperature year round. Relax in the Olympic size swimming pool filled with cool cave water, or hike the 1-1/4 mile fossil trail for a look at exposed limestone rock formations and crevasses. Camping is also available in the state of the art campground facilities.
